Reference Sire - A P Frosty Knight Many of Frost's sons and daughters and many mares bred to him will be sold in our September 2008 sale. We've had two horses that changed our horses dramatically here at the Sunshine Ranch. The first was Guatemala Canal. We lost him in 1998, but were lucky enough to have him bred to our best old mares, and mostly fillies were born in 1999. Those mares are the heart of our program. They're quiet, kind, and look and act like the type of horse we want to produce. The other horse that changed our horses was AP Frosty Knight. We understand that God never made the perfect horse, but "Frost" is close enough for us. His disposition and attitude about the world are his greatest attributes. He is a strong breeder, passing on his size, good looks and conformation, but mostly his disposition to his progeny. These horses fit our operation and many others. We're riding his sons and daughters and grand sons and daughters. They are all remarkably similar. That's all we could ask from a stallion. We are very grateful to own AP Frosty Knight. Below are some of his foals that were sold at our 2007 foal sale. Full siblings to many of these foals as well as their dams will be in our September 2008 sale.

For Sale - Cotton Eyed Frost -as well as many foals by him and mares bred to him.

We sold Cotton as a baby, then bought him back last year to compliment some of our Driftwood mares. In the late 1980s at the Haythorn ranch in Nebraska I POO-POOed the Continental Fly horses for having too much white and an occasional blue eye. That was a mistake, and I'll make more in the horse business, but not about the Continental bred horses. They add substance and stability to our horses, and we think they look good too! We hope you'll agree. Below are some of his foals that sold at our 2007 sale. Their siblings and some of their dams will be offered at our final dispersion sale .pedigree

Reference Sire - OAKWOOD DRIFT
Oakwood looks a lot like Driftwood himself. He's loaded with athletic ability and speed with refinement. This horse has a lot of action and is cowy and correct. His colts have a lot of the same movement and style, so, if you need a horse to get a day's work done smoothly and efficiently, consider an Oakwood. Here are some of his 2007 foals.
